How to Change Fonts, Font Sizes, and Colors in the Dentrix Appointment Book
If your Dentrix Appointment Book feels hard to read or visually cluttered, a few small customizations can make a big difference. In this quick walkthrough, I’ll show you how to change fonts, font sizes, and provider colors so your schedule is easier to scan and works better for you.
These settings are simple to adjust and can improve day-to-day efficiency for hygienists, front desk teams, and office managers who spend all day in the Appointment Book.
Change Fonts & Font Size in the Dentrix Appointment Book
Dentrix allows you to adjust the font style and size used throughout the Appointment Book so appointments are easier to read at a glance.
Steps:
-
Open the Appointment Book
-
From the top toolbar, click Setup
-
Select Display Font Select
-
Choose your preferred:
-
Font style
-
Font size
-
Bold or regular formatting
-
-
Click OK to save
You’ll immediately see the change reflected in the Appointment Book.
Important Note:
These font settings are computer-specific.
Changing them on your workstation will not affect other computers in the office, so each team member can customize their view independently.
Change Provider Colors in Dentrix

The provider’s appointments will now display using the updated color.

-
Reduce eye strain
-
Make busy schedules easier to scan
-
Help front desk teams avoid scheduling mistakes
-
Improve workflow for hygienists and assistants
A cleaner Appointment Book = less mental friction during the day.
